By a Thread

Well, here we have an under appreciated Revelation record. By a Thread's the last of the daydreams. This is on white vinyl limited to 226.  There are no other colors for this record, or presses. Just 226 on white. Pretty limited and im not sure why Rev did that but who cares. I saw this on the back wall at generation and asked the guy to pull it down for me. First he thought i said "minor threat" when i said "by a thread".  Then of course the lp was all the way in the back and up high behind the cd stacks so he had to get a ladder. No worries though he didnt fall. And i got this great emo lp.

Mob justice

Easily one of the most anticipated LP's of the year and Rival Mob's debut record on REVELATION mob justice!  From start to finish this album is awesome. I really didnt pay attention to the mob after Raw Life came out.  Hardcore for Hardcore kinda bored me but this record has brought me back around. Whatever colors this is i know its limited to 400 and apparently already goin on ebay for 40ish bucks. Guess i'm lucky to have grabbed it in the preorder.  Rev did a great job with this record.  The sleeve is just a little bit wider making it super easy to slide the record in and out of it.  Im not sure if other people get frustrated when you cant get the damn lp back in the sleeve but i do.  And that doesnt happen with this record.

Chain

So i feel like this is going to be a really obligatory blog post. But whatever. Everyone has been picking up the represses of the one thing that still holds true. The more i kept reading them the more it made me want to pick it up. I was never really that into chain but i figured what the hell.  So i saw it in generation last month and went for it.  Turns out i really like chain and have been spinning this multiple time a week since i got it. I think clear is the 4th press. Not really sure though.

Recent Rev Represses

Revelation has been repressing a bunch of their back catalog of late; Youth of today, In my eyes, Quicksand, Kiss it goodbye, etc. I grabbed a couple of them at Generation last weekend.
Generation had all the YOT represses (cant close my eyes, break down the walls) but i only opted to grab We're not in this alone.  This is my favorite Youth of today record and since I dont collect Rev or YOT by any means I felt i only needed to own this one.  I really like how they redid everything to look like the original pressing.  The red vinyl matches nicely to the cover of course.
I also grabbed the above two Kiss it Goodbye 7"s.  Both are what is being called the "final press" and are limited to 330. Kiss it Goodbye is awesome and they played brooklyn a few months ago.  I am an idiot and didnt go, hopefully they come back soon. I really need to pick up the lp and the other in my eyes repressess now that i think of it.
